The Theatrical Insanity of American Politics
At long last, the carnival that is the US elections comes to an unsurprising conclusion.
As the entire world reels back from the results and the unfortunate denizens of the “Free World” (Yes, I mean the entire west) – await the return of the orange man back in that most powerful, most influential of all positions in world politics; life in the Global South, as ever, continues under the status quo.
But in the “land of the free” and “home of the brave” (hahaha), now begins the barrage of tears underlying that most puerile of phenomena known as liberal fragility.
As expected, white women have once again demonstrated their proficiency at maintaining the front lines of this worthwhile endeavour by crying and screaming on TikTok.
From posting pictures of blue friendship bracelets as a sign of their absolution from the sins of their wider community – namely voting in the orange man, to dressing up as Katniss Everdeen set to battle the evils of the Capitol in her combat leathers, bow and arrow in hand, a vision of Artemis – the Greek Goddess of the Hunt…
I’m confused.
Katniss Everdeen?
The girl who grew up in a district amounting to a literal concentration camp, who volunteered as tribute to save her younger sister and who later became a symbol of revolution for her people – subjugated, oppressed and brutalised by the Capitol.
That Katniss? Huh.
It is very clear that the vast majority of American liberal public harbours some very serious delusions about what role they play in the grand scheme of the political affairs of their country and therefore, by extension, the world.
I have a message for them.
YOU ARE NOT THE GOOD GUYS!
YOU ARE THE CAPITOL!
These are the same people who have been deaf to the cries and pleas of Palestinians, who’ve reduced their armed resistance to terrorists, the same people who’s feminism decides to take a walk in the park when more than 130 women in the Al-Jezira province of Sudan commit suicide to escape the horror of sexual abuse and rape by Emirati backed RSF militia, the very same people who stood for days in orderly queues to get their hands on the new iPhone 16 when children as young as 8 years old are forced under slavery to mine cobalt in Congo.
The same white liberal America who cheered Kamala Harris on as she shut down Palestinian protestors by saying, “I’m speaking.”
The same sycophantic hypocrites that booed anyone with a conscience protesting – demanding an arms embargo, or even requesting that a Palestinian be allowed to speak at the DNC – A 4 day Orwellian extravaganza of the American elite bourgeoisie straight out of a dystopian novel.
Honestly, I’d half expected President Snow himself to pop up with a speech;
“Since the dark days, our great nation has known only peace.”
Queen B – Beyoncé reaffirming her status as a mother in support of Harris while actively ignoring the screams of mothers in Palestine and Lebanon, J-Lo – Miss Jenny from the Block fake crying and screaming how we should all be so angry, but clearly for all the wrong reasons, Leonardo “Mr. Climate Warrior” DiCaprio who can’t move two steps without taking a private jet, the whole cast of Avengers…like seriously?
I don’t know what Harris’s campaign managers were thinking but bringing out the entire Diddy List for endorsement was probably not the smartest move.
The utter dissonance displayed by American liberals including politicians and celebrities hoodwinking and gaslighting the general American public in the broadest terms possible is always just truly astounding to watch.
From Madam Harris’s speeches about embracing “joy” as a weapon against fascism to Miss Instagram Progressive i.e; AOC’s ridiculous claims of the Biden and Harris administration working “tirelessly” for a ceasefire and bringing hostages home.
Umm care to elaborate which hostages, Miss AOC? The Palestinian ones too right?
From start to finish, the Democratic campaign trail was simply a series of affirmations of republican stances, reiterations of their support for the Zionist entity, dancing and laughing and doing Wakanda Forever poses while completely avoiding any genuine public concerns or criticisms.
And then for liberal media to come out and imply that the democrats ran a “flawless” campaign and that the only reason she lost was misogyny and racism…
The gall!
Now, that’s not to say that both misogyny and racism did not play a part – they very definitely did, in Harris’s loss but to totally erase the very valid issues Muslims, leftists and socialist commentators have been raising from the very beginning about how exactly this was going to be the end result of all this nonsense and to put the blame on them when the democrats lose because of their own rattlebrained policies is absolutely wild.
Who woulda thunk that people using just a percentage of their thinking capabilities and making logical deductions and giving reasonably sound arguments might actually be right.
No. They were told to pipe down.
Well then.
